Reactivate is an EU job mobility scheme for jobseekers over the age of 35. The scheme’s services benefit employers and jobseekers alike: it helps employers to recruit for their vacancies, matching them with motivated and activated jobseekers across Europe and it helps jobseekers to find jobs, traineeships or apprenticeships with an employer in a different EU country.
Reactivate provides a set of services:
Reactivate services are free of charge and tailor-made to employers and jobseekers needs. Reactivate is co-funded by the European Union within the “EaSI 2014-2020” Programme and it is coordinated by the Metropolitan City of Rome (Italy).
To participate in the initiative and benefit from our recruitment and support services, you must comply with the following requirements:
– Nationality of a EU28 country.
– Age 35+
– Legally resident in a EU28 country.
– Seeking a job in another EU28 country.
Reactivate addresses all private and public organization/businesses (no matter their corporate size or economic sector) who are:
– Established in a EU28 country.
– Looking for European workers coming from a different EU28 country.
– Offering a job, apprenticeship or traineeship, ensuring pay and a written contract, with a 6-months or more duration, full-time or part-time, compliant with national labour and social protection laws and ensuring adequate protection and benefits.
All legally established businesses can participate. Only the placement with European institutions and bodies and other international policy, economic, social and scientific organizations (such as the UN, OECD, Council of Europe) as well as supra-national regulatory bodies and agencies is not eligible. However, only SMEs are entitled to receive the financial support.
SMEs (employers) may opt to organize an integration program. Whether or not they do so, an SME can still benefit from Reactivate support and recruitment services.
YFEJ is an intra-EU and small-scale job mobility scheme. It helps young nationals in the 18–35 age bracket of any of the EU countries, Iceland and Norway to find a work placement (job, traineeship or apprenticeship) in another country than their country of residence. It also helps employers, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to find the workers they need for their hard-to-fill vacancies. YFEJ is an EU labour market activation measure, combining tailor-made employment assistance with financial support for the target groups. YFEJ services include support for both young jobseekers and employers interested in recruiting from outside their home country. In particular the project offer the following services:

To participate in the initiative and benefit from our recruitment and support services, you must comply with the following requirements:
– Nationality of a EU28 country + Iceland and Norway.
– Age 18-35
– Legally resident in a EU28 country + Iceland and Norway.
– Seeking a job or traineeship in another EU28 country + Iceland and Norway
To participate in the initiative and benefit from our recruitment and support services, you must have a large-sized organization or SME located in a EU28 country + Iceland and Norway.
For this initiative, we consider SMEs as all the enterprises with less than 250 employees.
It is not possible to benefit from YfEj financial supports (both for the employers and the jobseekers) if the recruitment has not been carried out through YfEj or EURES network.
